Coronavirus Update & Policy
The health and well-being of our patients and staff remain Beaverton Oral Surgeon’s highest priority. We continue to monitor official announcements and CDC recommendations related to the status of the Coronavirus, and we will respond based on what is best for our patients and staff. Our offices will remain open and we will continue to provide care to our patients in need. This will include any exams to determine the urgency of treatment and of course any patients experiencing discomfort. Placing our focus on patients whose care cannot wait is a priority that fits within the guidelines suggested by the American Dental Association. This will allow us to care for our emergency patients and alleviate any burden that dental emergencies could place on hospital ER departments.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
Everyday Practices and Additional Precautions
We have always been extra vigilant with our sterilization protocols and procedures and will continue to do so. In response to the coronavirus, we have increased office area cleaning protocols related to high-touch surfaces. We are placing hand sanitizer throughout the office, as well as extra boxes of tissue and trash cans. We are requesting everyone to wash their hands frequently and to maintain a “social distance” from one another. We also encourage our team members and patients to stay home and to see a doctor if they feel unwell. We have adapted our cancellation policy so there are no penalties for canceling due to illness.
